Misawa is basically telling him, “Judai, I know you feel terrible about killing all of those people because of you powers, but you need to go back to using them because you are the Supreme King, he’s not some other entity, you’re the same person. And we need your powers if we’re going to get out of this mess.” And I can see why Judai’s so afraid of these powers because of what he did with them before. Like, why would you want to go back to being a homicidal maniac? (I know that’s not what Misawa is implying, but that’s how Judai interprets it.) It sounds like the Supreme King’s powers are hard to control due to some of it stemming from his anger. He must also be fearful that he could lose control and go berserk once more.
Dark powers do not sound like a good thing either, but Judai seems to have completely forgotten about what Aqua Dolphin told him back in episode 62 on his powers of darkness being a force of good and righteousness. Judai probably forgot about them given that he barely used his dark powers when he fought against Saiou.

By misusing the power, not only Judai’s friends died, but he had killed countless innocents and two of his friends with his own hands. Of course Judai is terrified , after all he had failed once , drunk with the seduction of raw power. He was so deep into despair that he couldn’t see anything anymore and is even having suicidal thoughts at this point.Up until now he had never really used fully the Supreme King’s powers, and so far he didn’t knew the story behind it so it must be something terrifying.
Haven’t we all made some mistake that we wished to take back? To have done something that surprised us in a bad way during a moment of stress? Judai did that to an extreme. He probably felt like he had lost control not only over everything but specially about himself. He didn’t even knew himself anymore, and he had all the reasons to be afraid.
Power by itself is hardly good or evil, but it’s easy to fall and very hard to get back on your feet. Who would just bounce back after the experience Judai had just gone through? Unfortunately, time was a luxury that he didn’t had at this point.
